I've been teaching myself 3DS Max and this is the first real project I've done. I know a lot of it is basic, but it's very time consuming making these darn things. I've been using 3DS Max for about a week now and I am trying to render the Carson Mansion but I have no floor plans and the only pictures of this house on the web are from the front. So I'm basically making it up as I go along. The bottom floors are just basic shapes right now, but the upper half of the tower is complete. For doing this for one week and having about 8 hours invested in this so far, I'm actually feeling quite pleased. Because I know they're only going to get better!
